Protrude Flow - Stolen from Slanty.net

Christian
"[Protrude, flow] uses magnetic fluid, sound, and moving images. Affected by the sounds and spectators' voices in the exhibition place, the three-dimensional patterns of magnetic fluid transform in various ways, and simultaneously its flowing movement and dynamic transformations are projected on the wide screen. "
You can read a bit about it here. Or better yet watch a video of it here. If your dieing for more pictures or can read Japanese this link is probably the one you want to click.

Lost My Static IP Address
September 14, 2001 at 1:32:01
Christian
I am now using a new Terayon Pro cable modem supplied by my ISP. This has caused the loss of my static IP address. The result is that this page may be down for a bit when ever the IP changes. I'm working on getting the DNS servers updated automatically. You can reach my home page at wolfhard.mine.nu if wolfhard.com does not work.

Obviously I've forgotten my own password to post, so it's kinda cool that I can post Anonymously [It's Aubrey]. Although - Its questionable that it is me because it does say "Anonymous".
Perhaps that last sentence proves it's me- hehehe...
Cin and I are sitting watching T.V. and they are showing some publicity stunt done on the city streets- a sticker placed on the subway tunnels warning of lizards- www.seweralert.org - so I did a quick DNS search to see who owned the site -
Anyway, long story short - we looked up Christian's site, saw all of his info, then came here and lo-n-behold here we are :)
It really was a rockin trip, and I will be putting everything up on aubz.com, but with my boards coming up... I AM LASY

We're back from our cruise through the Panama Canal. I will be writing a review over the next couple of weeks. That's how long I expect it to take. It was an interesting experience and we had fun. Pictures will be posted as soon as possible.

Well, we{ve managed to escape from the 65 year olds holding us captive for the past 10 days. Happy to have found a cheap internet cafe in Mexico along with $1 Coronas! Wish you were here to share it with us. Love and kisses,

Hello there, World Travelers!
You should be leaving on your fabulous Panama Canal cruise very soon, eh? Sue, Sam, Michael, Ralph and I all had dinner last night so we could show pictures and tell stories of Playa Blanca, March 10-17. It was delightful, as always, and your names were bandied about, as were Cindy and Aubrey's. Were you ears burning?
I've sort of figured out how to scan and e:mail photos so one day soon I will select a few to make you laugh and send them along. And of course, we look ever forward to seeing and reading all the details of the cruise the very moment you return.
And what about Turks December 1-8, 2001? ? ? We're all going and we need the Party Herd to be complete!
Have a fabulous time!
Cheers!
Pamela & Ralph

Dear Sir/Madam:
I am writing this letter in hopes that you will change your mind, and allow all of the citizens of your dominion to adopt similar rhetoric - To enable the masses to express clear sophistry.
Too long the verbiage has tormented my posts. It must end.
hehehehe - kind of reminiscent of a song I am listening to - Bt Never gonna come back down
hope that worked. if not, I'm gonna try it again over at aubz.com

No Longer Digital
March 14, 2001 at 10:23:26
Christian
I am no longer digital as I have returned my Toshiba digital camera. I loved having it around but it lacked one feature I need, or at least think I need. I will miss it. Great toy and useful too. I do plan on replacing it as soon as I get back from vacation.

I've Gone Digital

Christian
I have joined the digital photography age. A Toshiba PDR-M70 has joined the family (at least for a while). I am trying it out with an eye on trading it up for a Canon Powershot G1. I have added a link to my first images to the Gallery section. Look for "My Digital Snaps" or just click here.

I wish I were more like Aubz too
January 29, 2001 at 8:42:07
MeanMike
I am flattered that Aubz thinks that I have the ability to influence the weather, but I am saddened to say that I am not able to take credit for the phenomenon created by Mother Nature. On the other hand, I am more than willing to take credit for awkward silences, inappropriate gestures, soar moods and the one who (pardon my vulgarity) cut the "cheese".
It is true that I did get to see the great Aubz and Cin and they lived up to the anticipation that I created over my visit. In fact, they took that anticipation of the good time I would have and crumpled it in a ball and threw it in the trash because they were amazing ambassadors of the great city of New York. In fact, I think we should all make way for the big Apple and have a big-ole party. I will say that it might be a sound idea to wait for the first thaw so that us California folks aren?t bitten by Jack Frost.
Anyway, I have gone without rambling on the Wolfhard Page (which is looking quite impressive I might add) in quite some time and if truth be told, I look for anything to distract me from the drudgery of work, resulting in the endless gibberish you now find yourself reading.
Anyway, I know a handful of you folks on here and I hope to meet you all in the future. Like the Panama Canal folks and the other crazy folks North of the boarder.
Until then I bid farewell and remind you all to visit sunny LA, but you might want to wait till the spring because it was freezing today?I think it only was 58F (and yes I am too pitiful to do the conversion to Celsius).
Take care all?

Sometimes I wish I was more like me...
January 25, 2001 at 12:31:49
Aubrey
Hello.
I know, I know- It's bad enough that I am writing for my site, lest I start rambling over here too...
The short arm of my watch has just brazenly crossed the long arm at the twelve, speeding towards the opposite side - it knows... yes, it knows that less than six hours from now I will start this daily cycle again.
It is cold over on this side of the globe, and I'm searching for some of those 'old school' thermals - the ones that feel akin to waffles. Ahh, warmth!
Cin and I were fortunate enough to have Mike in New York last weekend, and it was a great time, although I am fairly convinced he has some innate control over the weather (be it earthquakes, rain or snow).
Grr I do tend to ramble when given the space.....
... I'll hush for now ...

Random Picture Rotator Added

Today I added a php script to display a random picture. Now, so I can be just like Aubrey, I just need to get that digital camera to grab my own pictures.

Now I know

After thinking about it for more than 10 seconds I got it. MLK = Martin Luther King. Dolce Hogar I got right off. Funny! MakeSeven and Puff Daddy? Still don't get it.

Now I know
January 17, 2001 at 1:47:49
MeanMike
Many an hour I have asked myself..."what do Cindy and Aubrey ponder in their New York dwellings?" As cars beep on the mean streets below...while a cat howls to be let in and an old lady down the hall yells at Aubrey to turn that racket down..as Cindy calls down to McDonald's to order the prefect shake which will be delivered to her front door. I wonder what flavor she ordered? No I know...
Aubz has the right idea with the MLK t-shirts. That would be nice. Not nearly as funny as the 7-up shirts, but maybe he can somehow combine the effort into one grand idea (maybe make it a sweatshirt). At least he tries. Unlike our friends up North who treat the day as if it were just another Monday...how shameful.
I realize that in order to be respectful to our Canadian friends I will need Christian to post a list of all Canadian Holidays which out of respect I will observe. (Additionally, I order liters as opposed to cups and I only drive in kilometers in an effort to ease the tension between our respective motherlands)
Enough with the pontificating. I now head off to the big ole Apple tomorrow where I will get to witness Cindy and Aubrey in their natural habitat. I will take pictures to document their behavior as well as tag them for tracking purposes. A full report will follow shortly.
Cheers to all!

TalkBack will soon be added
January 17, 2001 at 1:00:14
Christian
After reading Aubrey's news post I felt it imperative that people be able to respond to news posts. Perhaps it's because I'm not from the east coast, but what the hell is all that MiLK stuff?

Submit News Preview Added

You will now be able to preview your news submission before the world gets to see it. This way you can check that all looks right and that the links work.

MiLK
January 15, 2001 at 6:57:56
Aubrey
Hello all, I am back in New York, a slow drizzle is coating the asphalt- Cindy is sitting next to me... she is issuing commands, "make sure you tell them I am your Dolce Hogar...".
Nothing really happens on this holiday, perhaps we should have a MLK tree, or perhaps MLK "T" shirts...
...maybe they can say I Have a dream, but I guess that's too obvious- maybe just "up yours, Make seven" as the T.V. commercial is brilliant.
Cindy is shaking her head. something about Puff Daddy?

Panama Canal Cruise
January 13, 2001 at 4:50:02
Christian
Beginning on April 8, Neena and I will be going cruising. We board the Norwegian Sky for a 15 day cruise from Miami to San Diego through the Panama Canal. We unfortunately don't have a balcony cabin but we do have a porthole. I was going to send back pictures and email from the ship but that plan was squashed. I have read 2 reviews which state that the cost of Internet access onboard is $6US to $10US per minute! OUCH! I'll have to fall back to plan B. Look for corked bottles on a beach near you.

Updated the WebCam Page

The WebCam page has been updated. It now has links to other Vancouver WebCams and a bit of an Archive of my camera.

That Looks Somewhat Better
January 11, 2001 at 10:36:14
Christian
Up until today my page has looked like crap with Netscape. No smart-ass remarks please. I've cleaned a few things up so it should look better. The links still don't look like they do in Internet Explorer but I'll figure it out someday. The counter on the left side still looks bad in Netscape. I've even been told that it often does not appear at all. Go figure.
The fairly new Netscape 6 works much better than older versions. If you don't like the new skin go to View/Apply Theme/Get New Themes. Many themes to choose from. I'm gonna have to spend some time with Netscape to see what it can do.
The WebCam will be up more often from now on. I have had complaints. You know who you are. I have added a link to archived shots. The pictures are captured 15 minutes apart.

Playing With Style Sheets
January 9, 2001 at 8:28:05
Christian
If you notice some whacky text sizes and fonts in the next couple of days there's a reason. I'm playing with style sheets and setting up classes and styles. When style sheets are used it is possible to change the look of a whole web site by changing very little. This may take some time to get right though.

Added News Script Today
January 9, 2001 at 1:18:05
Christian
I wanted to be just like Aubrey so I have added the NewsPro news script here.  This will allow me to bore you with my day to day ramblings on life as well.
I plan on allowing everybody to add stuff to the page soon.  HTML commands such as Bold, or links like Club Med and even graphics like may be used.
